Massage & Movement Therapy

I've worked with teens for 20 years, providing manual and movement therapy, and as a parent, I know it can be hard to find a therapist who you trust with your child.

Massage & Movement Therapy can be so beneficial to support mental health, reduce stress and increase relaxation, and even support trauma healing. As a trauma-informed practitioner and intuitive healer, I'm able to connect with my teen clients to help them find relief from the stress and pain that often encompasses them. Parents are welcome and encouraged to stay with their teen during treatment.

Massage Therapy

Manual therapy and bodywork are tools I've implemented in recovery programs as a certified athletic trainer for 20 years, and I'm thrilled to be able to offer them now as a licensed massage therapist.

Whether it's assisting the healing process or helping release tension affecting our alignment and biomechanics, or even helping to relieve anxiety and support mental health, massage therapy can be the missing piece of your recovery plan. I offer a variety of techniques, including deep tissue, therapeutic massage, sport massage, assisted stretching, IASTM, and TheraGun implementation.

Massage alone cannot counteract the daily stress, training loads and daily movement patterns that often lead to pain, which is why I go beyond the hands-on session and develop a complete home program to help you maintain the benefits provided by the therapy you receive in my studio.

Weekly check-in and direct access be between sessions help to hold you accountable for your own recovery, and eliminates the questions that often come up with recovery plans. Your life extends beyond my studio walls, and so should your plan.

Since I offer a variety of techniques, my services are priced by time and not type in order to tailor your experience towards your needs.


Massage & Movement
for Kids, Tweens, & Teens

Massage and Movement Therapy benefit apply to our kids as well as adults.

The fact is that our daughters are starting to suffer from chronic pain, experience stress, and struggle with both anxiety and depression more than ever before. However, there are few practitioners who cater to younger clients, and it's our daughter's who are suffering because of it.

That changes with me. I've been working with young children & adolescents for over 20 years, and I approach their care in a way that helps them connect with their bodies that makes sense to them. Care is still founded in play, and communication to help me better understand what their pain is, and what could be causing it.

Both Massage & Movement Therapy plans for kids include mindfulness and corrective exercises to help them counter the causes of pain and help them to develop positive habits as they grow and develop during these years.

Restorative Exercise & Movement Therapy

Our kids aren't moving as well as the should be.

Whether it's hours of sitting in school and in front of a computer, or time spent in sports repeating the same movement patterns over and over, the result is the same. Our teens are suffering from pain, injuries, and other fallouts of sedentary behavior. They feel pretty crummy in their bodies.

When it comes to movement, the key to restoring it is to return to play. My programs are focused on exploring how we move in our bodies, correcting imbalances, learning new movement patterns for girls' changing bodies, and just figuring out what movement and exercise makes us feel good.

It's a combination of personal training, yoga, and corrective exercise molded into a unique session aligned with your daughter's needs and goals

Sometimes we get hurt but aren’t sure if it warrants a trip to the doctor or rehab professional. Or we're scared that the doctor will tell us that we need to rest, which can be scary especially if there is a big game on the line.

Other times we get frustrated in the injury healing process and get stuck. And then there are times when we're looking for an approach to healing that addresses whole-person healing - through nutrition, movement, and mindset - and not just a tear sheet of corrective exercise. This is where I come in.
